I LOVE VOCALOID!!!!!

i have loved the Singing Robots a for the majority of my life and i really need to talk about it but nobody else i know has a the same amount of dedication to Vocaloid that i do. so I made this page ^_^

how did i get into vocaloid?

a timeline so i don't forget

in 2014, my childhood best friend showed me a youtube video of a very specific song, mary's fictional world from kagerou project. the video is basically a slideshow of stolen kagepro fanart and english subs. no idea how my friend stumbled apon this, they were not a vocaloid or kagepro fan. (we were literally 7) also i didn't know it was vocaloid at the time

in 2015 i was given my first tablet and gained internet access. i discovered anime art, and decided at 9 years old that i want to practice art seriously so that i can reach moe anime nightcore level skill of art. while trying to achieve my new goal, there is a plethora of miku images i save unknowingly. i also installed a miku theme to my tablet cause i thought it looked cool.

in 2017 i became a big steven universe fan. i am obsessed with creating fusion ocs of my favorite characters. i watch fusion videos on youtube, which lead me to stumble apon mmds. mmds of su characters fusing. to 9 year old me, these videos were the most stunning and advanced animations i'd ever seen. i watch one of these channel's videos, and there is one of pearl and rose quartz fusing to an english cover of tokyo ghoul's unravel op. and from that cover, i find dj-lo's tokyo ghoul remix with miku. i loved that remix so much LOL. i also end up finding world is mine, popipo, and romeo and cinderella. soon after my su phase i become an animation meme kid. lots of vocaloid music there. (echo + copycat are ones i vivdly remember liking a lot)

around 2018-2019 i had a terrible phase where i tried being really normal so not much to say for those years;;

2020 quarantine is when i discovered kikuo and completely fell down the rabbit hole..never to escape!!
